Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will launch its 4G long term evolution (LTE) services in January 2018. The company has two strategies for the introduction of 4G; one which includes the utilisation of BSNL’s 15,000 4G-enabled Wi-Fi hotspots and the second is the traditional route of using 4G equipment. Nokia and ZTE will install the 4G equipment by the end of 2017.
