NHAI plans to raise Rs 100 billion through 10-year bonds

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to raise Rs 100 billion by selling 10-year bonds at a coupon rate of 7.5 per cent. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has further proposed to raise funds from retirees and provident fund beneficiaries by selling the NHAI bonds. The money raised will be used for the implementation of the Bharatmala programme.
