The Uttar Pradesh government has announced its Civil Aviation Promotion Policy, 2017, to facilitate the integrated development of underserved airports by providing air connectivity through new routes under the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). Further, it aims to promote interconnectivity of non-RCS airports in the state by developing airport infrastructure through public or private investments for which adequate incentives will be provided.
