Pune Municipal Corporation approves new cost estimates for the upcoming 24×7 metered water supply project

The Pune Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra has reduced the estimated cost for the 24×7 metered water supply project by Rs 2.9 billion. The project cost now stands at Rs 23.25 billion from the earlier projection of Rs 26.15 billion. The reduction in project cost is mainly owing to the goods and services tax and a change in materials to be used in the civil works.
