The MoS has sanctioned funds worth Rs 250 million as grant-in-aid to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust as well as Rs 500 million to the Karnataka government for developing various infrastructure facilities at Karwar port. These funds have been sanctioned under the CBS.
