Bharti Airtel has launched voice over long term evolution (VoLTE) services in the Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles. Earlier, the operator had launched VoLTE services in Mumbai. Meanwhile, Airtel is planning to gradually phase out its 3G service in the next two years. To this end, the operator plans to transfer all its 3G users across the country to its 4G network based on VoLTE services.
