The central government has agreed to sanction Rs 20 billion for the construction of a 418 km national highway connecting East Godavari district and Vizianagaram. The national highway will begin from Rajamahendravaram in East Godavari district and terminate at Vizianagaram, passing through Gokavaram, Rampachodavaram, Addateegala, Rajavommangi, Chintapalli, Lambasingi, Paderu, Araku and Srungavarapukota.
