The Ministry of Shipping laid the foundation stone for the Wardha dry port on October 2, 2017. The project is being developed by JNPT in order to provide effective logistics services to industries in Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region. The dry port is expected to entail an investment of Rs 5 billion.
