Government constitutes high-level committee on 5G

The government has constituted a high-level committee on 5G to lay down a roadmap and prepare action plans for the roll-out of 5G technology in the country by 2020. The committee’s primary goals are to achieve early deployment of 5G in India and create a globally competitive product development and manufacturing ecosystem over the next five to seven years.
