Kakinada Seaports-led consortium won rights for a coal-handling terminal at Paradip port

A Kakinada Seaports Limited-led consortium has won the rights to develop and operate a coal handling terminal for a period of 30 years at Paradip port. The consortium of Kakinada Seaports Limited, Bothra Shipping Services Private Limited and Ripley & Company Stevedoring & Handling Private Limited offered a revenue share price bid of 36.53 per cent. The terminal will be developed at an estimated cost of Rs 6.56 billion.
