The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has signed a loan agreement worth Rs 14.24 billion ($220 million) with the central government for the Rajasthan State Highway Investment Programme (RSHIP). The loan amount is the first tranche of the $500 million programme approved in May 2017. The loan will have a 25-year term including a grace period of eight years and will carry an annual interest rate determined in accordance with ADB’s Libor lending facility.
