No hand baggage tagging and stamping for domestic passengers at six more airports

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has abolished the practice of tagging and stamping domestic passengers’ hand baggage at another six airports – Patna, Chennai, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram and Guwahati, starting June 1, 2017. Further, the CISF has now commenced a three-week trial to do away with the tagging and stamping of hand baggage of domestic passengers at five other airports – Varanasi, Pune, Goa, Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
