City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited is expected to issue a letter of intent for the development of the Navi Mumbai International Airport Project, Phase I, to Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) by early July 2017. Expediting the project, the Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee is likely to grant its approval for the financial bid received from MIAL following which the project will be recommended to the state cabinet for final approval.
