CCEA approves three railway projects in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh

The CCEA has granted approval for three railway projects in Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. These are the Manmad-Jalgaon third line project, involving the electrification and construction of a 160 km third line between Manmad and Jalgaon in Maharashtra, at an estimated cost of Rs 11.98 billion; the Shahganj-Bhatni-Phephna-Indara and Mau-Shahganj line-doubling project, involving the construction of a 150 km double line with electrification between Phephana and Indara and Mau and Shahganj (excluding the Indara-Mau line) in Uttar Pradesh, at an estimated cost of Rs 11.9 billion; and the Guntur-Guntakal line doubling project involving the construction of a 401.47 km double line with electrification between Guntur and Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh, at an estimated cost of Rs 36.31 billion.
