MoRTH approves Rs 36.15 billion for development of 14 roads in Telangana

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has approved Rs 36.15 billion for the development of 14 roads (with a total length of 570 km) in Telangana. The state government has also sanctioned Rs 4.7 billion for the improvement of the Warangal-Khammam and Metpally-Jagtiyal roads, Rs 0.3 billion for bypass road work, Rs 2.49 billion for bridges and flyovers, and Rs 0.33 billion for detailed project reports. Under the Central Road Fund programme, the improvement of another 85 roads at a cost of Rs 10.2 billion was also cleared.
