The Japan International Cooperation Agency has extended an official development assistance (ODA) loan worth Rs 110 billion for various infrastructure projects in the country. These include the Chennai Metro Rail Phase I Extension Project (ODA worth Rs 20 billion), the Mumbai Trans-Harbour Link Project (ODA worth Rs 86 billion) and the Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal Expressway Project (ODA worth Rs 4 billion).
