NGT clears LNG terminal development at Cochin port

The National Green Tribunal gave clearance for the development of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal being developed at Cochin port on February 24, 2017. The LNG terminal, being developed by IOCL, will have a capcity of 0.6 mtpa. The scope of work includes the laying of a pipeline from the jetty to the Kochi refinery via IOCL’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant in Kochi.
