IDFC Project Equity Company Limited plans to acquire two road projects from GR Infraprojects Limited. The first project is the Shillong Bypass two-laning road project, which involves the development of a two-lane bypass from km 61.8 of National Highway (NH)-40 to km 34.85 of NH-44 in Meghalaya, under Phase A of the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme in North East, at an estimated cost of Rs 2.5 billion. The second project is the Reengus-Sikar four-laning highway project (NH-11), which involves four-laning of the Reengus-Sikar stretch from km 298.07 near Madhopura junction to km 341.04 section of NH-11, under Phase III of the National Highways Development Programme, at an estimated cost of Rs 3.33 billion.
