Ministry of Communications launches IVRS facility for taking subscribers’ feedback on call drops

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology launched an integrated voice response system facility in the Delhi, Mumbai, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Maharashtra and Goa circles on December 23, 2016 to obtain direct feedback from subscribers and use that feedback to solve the problem of call drops. Subscriber feedback will be shared with operators so that they can take corrective steps in the identified areas to improve their mobile network. The government will initially use the platform for receiving feedback on call drops and will later extend it to receive consumer feedback in other areas as well.
