K.C.V.R. Infra Projects Private Limited has won the contract for Package I of the Orvakal greenfield airport in Andhra Pradesh. The scope of works includes the construction of a new runway, turning pads, apron, parallel taxiway, link taxi track shoulders and isolation bay shoulders. Besides, it also includes the development of an approach road from National Highway (NH)-40 to the airport, a boundary wall, operational walls, culverts and drains, on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis at a cost of around Rs 500 million.
