In-principle approval received for establishing commercial complex in MIHAN

The board of Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited has granted in-principle approval for the setting up of a commercial complex in the notified area of the Multimodal International Cargo Hub and Airport, Nagpur. Meanwhile, to make the Shirdi airport functional at the earliest, the Maharashtra government has decided to allot land to Indian Oil Corporation Limited for setting up an aviation fuelling point. Further, the extension of the terminal building and the runway (from 2,500 metres to 3,200 metres), and the development of parking and other infrastructural works have also been approved for the airport.
