PPGCL commissions a 660 MW unit at Prayagraj STPP

Prayagraj Power Generation Company Limited, a subsidiary of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited, has commissioned the second 660 MW unit of the 1,980 MW coal-based Prayagraj super thermal power project at Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited was the principal contractor for the project. The first unit of the project was completed in December 2015. Meanwhile, the third unit is at an advanced stage of construction.
