The Ministry of Shipping (MoS) has sanctioned a capital dredging project for roll-on roll-off (ro-ro) passenger ferry services between Gogha and Dahej, in the Gulf of Khambhat, Gujarat. The total project cost is estimated to be Rs 2,340 million, of which 50 per cent will be funded by the central government under the Sagarmala programme. The ministry has released Rs 585 million as the first instalment to the Gujarat Maritime Board.
