Adani Green Energy (Tamil Nadu) Limited has commissioned a 648 MW solar power plant at Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu. Entailing an investment of around Rs 45.5 billion, it is the world’s largest solar plant at a single location. The entire capacity of the plant has been connected to Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Limited’s 400 kV Kamuthi substation.
