CIDCO to invite RfP from three qualified bidders by October 2016

The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) plans to invite requests for proposal for the Navi Mumbai International Airport Project from three qualified bidders after March 20, 2016. The Maharashtra Project Monitoring and Implementation Committee recently approved CIDCO’s proposal. The three bidders – GMR Airports, GVK-led Mumbai International Airport Limited, and a consortium of MIA Infrastructure of France and Tata Realty and Infrastructure – have been asked to submit their bids by October 2016. Thereafter, CIDCO will award the contract and construction work is likely to commence by December 2016. Currently, the technical bids for pre-development works are under consideration, subsequent to which the financial bids will be opened.
