Trial runs conducted on the Okhla Vihar-Kalkaji Mandir section of Delhi Metro Phase III

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced trial runs on the Okhla Vihar-Kalkaji Mandir stretch of the Delhi Metro Project, Phase III. The stretch is a part of the 37 km long Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden Corridor (Corridor 2). In June 2016, trial runs were conducted on the Kalindi Kunj-Okhla Vihar section of Corridor 2. The DMRC will soon commence trial runs on the entire 9.5 km stretch from Kalindi Kunj to Kalkaji Mandir. Meanwhile, trial runs on the 3.9 km, Kalindi Kunj-Botanical Garden stretch (on the Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden corridor) are expected to commence in mid-October 2016.
