PLL commissions regasification facilities at Dahej LNG facility

Petronet LNG Limited (PLL) has commissioned regasification facilities at the Dahej LNG Terminal Expansion Project. The facility is under stabilisation. PLL, a joint venture (JV) company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, GAIL (India) Limited, IOCL and ONGC, is expanding the capacity of its Dahej LNG terminal from 10 mtpa to 15 mtpa by setting up an additional storage and regasification facility and a third jetty. The project is divided into two packages. Package I involves the setting up of LNG regasification facilities while Package II will comprise two LNG storage tanks, four LNG truck loading bays, utilities and offsites. The remaining part of the expansion is likely to be completed by October 2016.
