MoRTH’s SFC approves 16 national highway projects to be implemented in 11 states

The MoRTH’s Standing Finance Committee has approved 16 highway projects in 11 states to be executed at a cost of Rs 74.57 billion. Of these, two projects will be implemented on a hybrid annuity basis, 13 on an engineering, procurement and construction basis and one on a build-operate-transfer basis. The projects are located in Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Sikkim. The two hybrid annuity projects involve the upgradation of two sections of NH-66 in Maharashtra at a cost of Rs 9.05 billion and Rs 13.38 billion, respectively, to be implemented under Phase IV of the National Highways Development Programme.
