CCEA approves railway projects in nine states

The CCEA has approved the implementation of nine projects at a cost of Rs 243.75 billion for expanding the railway network and enhancing connectivity. The projects involve the construction of the 176 km second railway line in Assam (Rs 25.87 billion), the 132 km third line in Jharkhand (Rs 14.83 billion), the 228.3 km third line in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra (Rs 21.94 billion), the 273.8 km third line (Rs 43.77 billion) and the 152.57 km third line (Rs 22.73 billion), both in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, the 201.04 km third line in Telangana and Maharashtra (Rs 24.03 billion), the 287.67 km third line in Andhra Pradesh (Rs 38.75 billion), the 206 km fourth line in Odisha and Chhattisgarh (Rs 22.98 billion) and the 280 km third line in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra (Rs 28.82 billion) .
