IRSDCL sings development agreement for re-development of the Habibganj railway station

Indian Railway Stations Development Corporation Limited (IRSDCL) has signed a development agreement with the consortium of Prakash Asphalting and Toll Highways (India) Limited and Bansal Construction Works for the re-development of the Habibganj railway station. The MoR has also granted a formal sanction for the SPV, Bansal Pathways Habibganj Private Limited, which has been incorporated for project implementation. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4.5 billion, of which Rs 1 billion will be utilised for station development while the remaining Rs 3.5 billion will be used for commercial development. The project will require a total of 29.6 hectares of land and will be completed in three years.
