IOCL’s Ennore LNG Terminal Project to be completed by March 2018

Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s (IOCL) Ennore LNG Terminal Project is likely to be completed by March 2018. The project is being developed by IOCL through Indian Oil LNG Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) incorporated for the project. It involves setting up of a 5 mtpa liquefied natural gas import, storage and regasification terminal at Kattupalli, close to Ennore port, north of Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Construction work on the project started in November 2015, and about 23 per cent has been completed, including the pile foundation, onshore pipe trestle and construction of some buildings.
