Central government accords in-principle approval for four new railway lines along the India-China border

The central government has accorded in-principle approval for the development of four new railway lines along the India-China border. Final location surveys will be conducted on the proposed lines – the Pasighat-Parasuramkund-Rupai, Bilaspur-Manali-Leh, Missamari-Tawang, and North Lakhimpur-Silapathar sections. The detailed engineering survey for the project is expected to be completed by the MoR soon.
