AAI is targeting to operationalise an additional 24.1 MW of solar power capacity at 11 airports by December 2016. AAI’s perspective plan targets increasing solar capacity to 116 MW at 16 other airports. The development of an airport-wise action plan on energy and water conservation is expected to be completed by end-August 2016.
