The national plant load factor (PLF) registered a decline from 64.25 per cent in 2014-15 to 62.29 per cent in 2015-16. Against the overall declining trend, private sector PLF saw a marginal increase to 60.49 per cent in 2015-16 (59.77 per cent in 2014-15).
