The MoR has signed an MoU with the National Academy of Indian Railways to set up the C.T. Venugopal Chair on Strategic Finance, Research and Policy Development for undertaking research on issues of emerging financial challenges in railways. Initially set up for a period of three years, the duration of the chair is extendable by two years.
