Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) in Karnataka has proposed the extension of the Gottigere-IIM-B-Nagawara line till Kempegowda International Airport under Phase II of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project. The feasibility report for the extension has been prepared by RITES Limited and the latter has suggested five alignments for the corridor. BMRCL is planning to prepare a detailed presentation on RITES’ findings in order to seek approval from the state government.
