The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved the implementation of five railway projects worth Rs 108 billion on May 26, 2016. The projects are the Pune-Miraj-Londa Line Doubling Project (Rs 36.27 billion), the Surendranagar-Rajkot Line Doubling Project (Rs 11.37 billion), the Roza-Sitapur Cantonment-Burhwal Line Doubling Project (Rs 12.95 billion), the Vizianagaram-Titlagarh Third Line Project (Rs 23.36 billion) and the Bina-Katni Third Line Project (Rs 24.78 billion).
