H-Energy

H-Energy was set up in 2009 with a vision to contribute to the economic growth of the country by offering world-class, environmentally safe and sustainable energy solutions. It has forayed into various businesses including liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminals and natural gas pipeline infrastructure.

H-Energy, through its diverse business ventures, aims to provide flexible and competitive contracts to customers across various industrial segments in India. H-Energy aspires to be the enabling force providing LNG regasification and pipeline infrastructure to downstream consumers by connecting untapped gas markets in eastern and western India to the national gas grid.

The company is progressing aggressively for commissioning its 4 million metric tonne per annum Jaigarh floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) project within the timeline of the second quarter of 2018. The jetty design for the project is being finalised and construction will commence in the next two months. The work on the 60 km Jaigarh-Dabhol natural gas pipeline has already commenced and the FSRU chartering agreement will also be finalised in the next two months.

H-Energy was awarded the 635 km, Jaigarh-Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg-Goa-Karwar-Udupi-Mangalore natural gas pipeline by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) in June 2016. The pipeline will originate from the Jaigarh LNG terminal and will connect major industrial units like refineries, fertiliser plants, petrochemical plants and power plants in the south-western coastal stretch of Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Goa, Karwar, Udupi and Mangalore. Work on the pipeline will commence soon and the pipeline will be operational by the second quarter of 2019.

H-Energy, through its downstream gas marketing company, will be offering regasified LNG to natural gas consumers from the second quarter of 2018 onwards through its FSRU project located at Jaigarh, Maharashtra, on the west coast of India and from the first quarter of 2020 onwards through its offshore Digha FSRU project located in West Bengal.
