MoR signs an MoU with Haryana government

The MoR signed an MoU with the Haryana government on June 2, 2016 for the speedy execution of viable rail projects in the state in the JV mode. The MoU envisages the formation of a JV company with the state government owning 51 per cent stake and the MoR 49 per cent. The JV will be fully owned by the government and will primarily identify projects and possible financing avenues, in addition to those from the state and central governments.
