SCCL commissions 600 MW unit at 1,200 MW Singareni TPP in Telangana

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has commissioned a 600 MW unit of the 1,200 MW coal-based Singareni TPP at Adilabad in Telangana. With this, SCCL has diversified into the power generation business. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) was the primary contractor for the TPP.
