MMRDA awards contracts for all seven packages of the Sewri-Nhava section of MTHL

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded project management consultancy contracts for all seven packages of the Sewri-Nhava section of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link project. The scope of the work involves conducting geotechnical investigations. The consultancy contract for  Land Part 1 (Sewri) and Land Part 2 (Shivaji Nagar and Chirle) has been awarded to SKW Soil and Survey Company, Marine Part 1 (Sewri) has been awarded to DBM Geotechnics and Constructions Private Limited, Marine Part 2 has been awarded to Coastal Marine Construction and Engineering Limited,  Marine Part 3 (Marine Central) and Marine Part 4 (Navigational Channel) have been awarded to Horizon Survey Company India Private Limited, and Marine Part 5 (Shivaji Nagar side) has been awarded to Fugro Geotech Private Limited. The project involves the construction of a 22 km-long six-lane bridge across the Mumbai harbour, connecting Mumbai to Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra.
