Commercial operations commence at Indore’s domestic cargo terminal

The common user domestic cargo terminal at Indore airport has commenced commercial operations. The facility is located on a 600 square metre area at the old terminal building with two major halls, one each for in-bound and out-bound cargo. The facility has been developed by GSCE Private Limited and has a capacity for scanning 60 tonnes of goods per day.

Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure Company Limited (GUJSAIL) has proposed the development of a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility at Ankleshwar in Gujarat. The proposed facility will accommodate two large aircraft and three smaller aircraft, and will be developed as a greenfield airport dedicated to MRO and cargo. An initial budgetary allocation of Rs 200 million has already been made by GUJSAIL for the project.
