The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has stated that operators can sell or share spectrum in the 800 MHz band in the Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu circles by paying the base price recommended by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in the upcoming auctions. However, operators will need to match the winning auction price discovered in the next round of spectrum auctions expected to be held in June 2016.
