Ahmedabad airport runway repair works to start in April

Recarpeting and repair works on the 3.5 km runway of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, will commence from April 16, 2016, at an estimated cost of Rs 270 million. Runway repair work is also being undertaken at Amritsar, where work is expected to be completed within 10 months; Indore (six months); and Trivandrum (three months) from the start of work.
