On January 22, 2016, the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) concluded consultations on the draft new civil aviation policy, which was unveiled in October 2015. The draft note will be sent for union cabinet approval after the MoCA resolves certain minor issues. However, no deadline has been assigned for the policy roll-out.
