GoAir plans IPO worth Rs 10 billion in FY17

GoAir is planning to launch a Rs 10 billion IPO in 2016-17.  However, the carrier plans to go ahead with this once it acheives clarity on the delivery of new Airbus aircraft. The airline earlier had plans to make an IPO during 2015-16; however, uncertainty over the delivery schedule of 72 A320neo aircraft deferred its IPO plans. Meanwhile, the airline has appointed Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Kotak Mahindra bank for managing the proposed public float.
