Financial bids invited for Navi Mumbai International Airport

Three qualified bidders have been shortlisted to submit request for proposal (RfP) bids for development of the Navi Mumbai International Airport Project Phase I which are likely to be invited by March 2016. The bidders are the GMR Group, GVK Group’s Mumbai International Airport Limited, and the Tata Realty-MIA Infrastructure consortium. They will be given about five months to submit bids. The security clearance to the consortium of Hiranandani Developers (Voluptas Developers) and Zurich Airport Developers has been rejected. Meanwhile, pre-development works are likely to commence by March 2016.
