The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) has issued draft Terms and Conditions for Exchange of Energy Savings Certificates Regulations, 2016. The draft regulation outlines the mechanism for the issue and exchange of energy savings certificates as well as the role of various entities including the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the CERC and Power System Operation Corporation Limited. The commission has sought comments and suggestions on the draft regulation by February 22, 2016.
